The Program

Here are a few things about the TSFL program that I love:



5&1: This is the plan you do when you are trying to lose weight. The program includes purchasing meals made by medifast and sticking to the 5&1 meal plan. That means, 5 medifast meals (including your choice of shake, bar, oatmeal, eggs, brownies, pancakes, soup, chili and more) and then one "lean and green" meal (6oz lean meat and low carb vegetables) every day. It's awesome. You get to eat real food but you only have to think about planning ONE meal a day. The rest is taken care of for you.The purpose is to get you on a low-carb/calorie diet that will focus on fat loss.  

Eat 6 times a day: You eat 6 times a day and drink plenty of water. This will help increase your metabolism and although you may never feel completely full, you will never be starving either because there is always a meal to be eaten every 2-4hours!! This creates a habit that will keep you healthy for life.

Free Health Coach: It's one thing to go on a diet but what if you had your own personal cheering squad celebrating and highlighting your efforts, keeping you on track until the end? People with Health Coaches increase their chances of reaching their weight loss goals by FOUR times. A sure way to success? I think so! You will never pay for your Health Coach - you only pay for your meals and the support comes with the Take Shape for Life program. It will be my personal duty to make sure you're on the right path to achieving your goals and then MAINTAIN them forever. FOREVER people. That's a long time. 

Budget: The average American spends $15+/day on food. When on the full program (5&1) you will be spending an average $10/day on your meals (plus your lean&green). Hello budget friendly!

Fast: On average you can expect to lose between 2-5lbs a week while on the 5&1 plan. I see the fat practically melting off my body in places I have never been able to lose it before! It's very hard to lose those last 5lbs when you're already in a good place and have no obvious need for weight loss but whether it's 60lbs or just 5lbs, this program hits the spot!

Health Benefits: I've always maintained a fairly healthy lifestyle and have never had any medical conditions such as high/low blood pressure or diabetes - but I've heard many stories of people being able to reduce (or come off completely) their medications as their weight is reduced.
